REPLAY: Expert Telesummit - How an Enterostomal Therapy (ET) Nurse Can Help You

Leaky bladder? Wondering how to manage?

INFORMATIVE REPLAY

We were really excited about this call with Susan Mills-Zorzes from the Canadian Association of Enterostomal Therapy (CAET). Nurses - ETs - specialize in wound, ostomy, and continence care. We wanted to learn how an ET nurse works with patients and other health care providers to improve incontinence and associated skin care issues.

And Susan certainly delivered! This was a fantastic call! We learned the basics of what incontinence is - and more importantly - how you can take control of your bladder through self-catheretization, depending upon your situation.

We hope the telesummit is useful for people wanting to know more. You can look at Susan's presentation and find the Patient Decision Aid for intermittent self-catheterization on the CAET website.
