What disposable underwear is made just for women?

Women's leak-proof underwear that works as hard as you do

The hunt for the perfect bladder leak protection underwear for women has found some treasures.

My Liberty sells products that make the grade for our own loved ones. We bring products to the Canadian market with the kind of quality we can be proud of. Our focus remains on sourcing quality absorbent hygiene products.

We are always researching the most advanced incontinence products to offer our customers improved skin care and style.

Leaders in the disposable underwear world have introduced gender-specific panties for women, and we are impressed. These are designed specifically for the unique body shapes and needs of women.

We are finally seeing more and more gender-specific underwear for men versus women. Developed with unique "target" zones per gender, TENA, Prevail and Attends now offer underwear products designed for the different needs of women vs men

Protective underwear options for women

If it's time to get yourself or a loved one suited up - have a look at these new just-for-women underwear options from TENA, Prevail or Attends.

If you are leaking through your pad or washable incontinence underwear, you may need an upgrade. Your bladder situation may have changed or was underestimated in the first place.

More choices than you might think

And, if you are new to the incontinence marketplace, chances are you have "adult diapers" or "depends" on your mind. Let us ease your mind -

The great news is that a competitive hygiene industry continues to introduce more highly absorbent, skin-protecting, odour-absorbing underwear, briefs or adult diapers, and pads unlike anything you have seen before.

The just-for-women underwear includes options for daytime needs and for overnight. The starting absorbency is at least twice what you can get with Depend - and we think the quality is also higher.

Don't settle for something off the shelf

Maybe the growing numbers of Baby Boomers can take the credit, but we are seeing big changes in modern incontinence products. As one customer said, "these aren't your grannie's panties!" We think she was saying "these are not harsh on your skin, noisy, smelly or leaky."

The trend is toward soft, cloth-like materials. If you shop for someone with dementia or Alzheimer's, you know how important it is to accommodate the need for familiar feels.

People who must switch from "regular" underwear to protective underwear or a brief (adult diaper) are more accepting of cloth-like products because these feel like their old underwear.

Now that you are aware there are better options, if you are shopping for yourself or your mother - or your mother's mother - heaven knows that you want the best you can afford and you don't want to settle for inadequate underwear

TENA , for example has introduced its 100% breathable technology called "ConfioAir", which allows humidity to evaporate to help maintain skin's natural moisure balance.

Prevail's protective underwear for women features its 360 Breathable Zones that allow air to circulate around the entire underwear and help prevent heat and moisture build up.

Attends Discreet Underwear for Women is designed for more active individuals who are able to get to the bathroom more easily and may simply need protection between visits to the loo. This premium product offers a soft, cloth-like breathable fabric and full-belly elastic waistband for a comfortable, contoured fit.

TENAPrevail and Attends women's underwear are made with new technology that allows for thinner, highly-absorbent material that allows a woman to move more freely and confidently.

Why care about breathability of your incontinence undies?

The "breathability" of your underwear helps keep skin dry and healthy by reducing friction. It allows liquid and odour to stay in while moisture evaporates, promoting better skin health and avoiding bladder infections.

One key factor in finding the right product is to make sure that any fluids are quickly absorbed away from the skin. It is important to focus on the health of the skin down under to avoid discomfort, rashes, and infections.

If you have "diaper rash" at your age, it's time to find a better product!

Price matters

Like you, My Liberty is all about the "bottom line" (sorry - couldn't resist!).

Incontinence underwear - like all other things - runs the gamut of prices. But, we have learned that in this world of managing incontinence, you really do get what you pay for.

Our experience tells us that a more expensive purchase often works out best for a budget. How can that be?

With a more absorbent, better fitting product (lots more stretch and sizing options), you simply don't need to constantly change or add a pad to avoid leaks. With a higher capacity product, fewer changes per day (or night) are needed. Fewer per day (and month) means your purchase goes further.

Our goal is to fit you up with fewer changes, fewer skin infections or bladder infections. In the end, it is a savings when you are using 3 products a day instead of 5 or 6 or more.

We encourage customers to think about the 'cost per pair' instead of the cost per case.

My Liberty would love to see you get a good fit, and the right product. And, we are here to make sure that every customer gets the right product for their situation.

Measurement guidelines to ensure the best fit

Note that our brands and best-sellers don't have to be specialized for men or women to be really effective. We are simply enthusiastic here about the new options for women who feel they want a specific approach.

One question we hear all the time is "How do I choose an incontinence product or underwear?" So for everyone who is curious - here's the breakdown:
