COVID-19 - Our new reality
Mid-March and the start of the COVID-19 lock down seems like a lifetime ago
Like you, we had an immediate scramble, huge concerns for our families and friends and then the long, slow adjustments.
While we continue to manage our worries and fears - and some relief - we wanted to thank you for your many orders and for your patience.
My Liberty and our suppliers are working in unheard-of-conditions with physical separations, no lunchrooms, half the staff and inventory that is tied up at the border for weeks at a time.
We are speaking to you over the sound of barking dogs, ringing doorbells, demanding cats, conference calls in the kitchen and sometimes - burping kids.
Products like PeaPodMats, and SOSecure bathing suits arrive by mail
Wow! Canada Post probably says it best with its dry statement:
"Canadians should anticipate parcel delays for the foreseeable future, even as Canada Post delivers at record levels. As Canadians continue to ramp up and diversify their online shopping, Canada Post is responding to unprecedented parcel volumes while maintaining important physical distancing measures in all our facilities.
Processing record parcel volumes in plants that were never designed to keep people two metres apart takes more time."
For many customers, you have been challenged to believe that it can take three weeks for a small parcel to arrive - and others are downright angry with My Liberty for things out of our control.
Products like Tranquility, Tena, Aniva, and Prevail come from warehouses that also supply hospitals and nursing homes.
You can just imagine how hectic it is with the unending demand for Personal Protective Equipment like masks, shields, sanitizer and gloves plus business as usual.
We are so grateful to them for managing our orders as quickly as possible
As we say, "We can't thank you enough" for your orders, your loyalty and that all-important patience with the pandemic, the mail, the internet, the heat and the small and large frustrations as we wait for a vaccine.
Requirements for physical distancing and extraordinary cleaning plus exceptional demand are creating creates delays everywhere
We hope you will not experience shipping delays, but please understand that may simply be the case nowadays. We're chasing orders, re-stock, shortage and shipping information for you and promise to share it as soon as we have updates.
